With the announcement of Tony Mowbray's impending move to Scotland only hours or days away it would appear that his former charges at the Hawthorns are falling over themselves to follow Mogga North.

Whilst it could be argued that this is the footballer equivalent of "I'm a Celebrity, Get me out of here" where the players see this as an convenient and easy route out of the Championship the fact that these players are keen to follow Mowbray says a lot about the big man.

The latest player to offer his services is Borja Valero, the Spanish midfielder who was a product of Real Madrid's Youth Set up.

Valero's representative, Alejando Camano, had this to say.

"Borja was happy at West Brom and will stay and help them get out of the English Championship if there is no offer to sign him," Camano told the Daily Record. "But he'd be very interested in hearing what Celtic have to say if they make a move.

"They haven't yet told us they would like to sign Borja but everything could change quickly.

"He had a great relationship with Tony at West Brom and the fact he's now going to Glasgow would make all the difference.

"Celtic are a big club, one that most players would be interested in playing for and we have to wait and see if there is interest from them."

And now every pundit, news source and Celtic fan site is speculating when the announcement regarding our new manager, with many persons in a severe rush to put their reputations on the line by forecasting exactly when the white smoke will appear over Parkhead.

Further to that there are a lot of rumours circulating that the entire football operation at Celtic is to be revamped with Willie McStay supposedly heading over to Hungary to get experience in managing a senior level Club and Neil Lennon taking over the reserves alongside Danny McGrain.

Yours in Celtic
