West Brom Deny Mowbray Talks.

Celtics hunt for a new manager of first team will take another turn today as Favourite-Person-to-Take-Over-Vacant-Celtic-Position-Number-Four-in-a-List-of-Thousands, Tony Mowbray will be denied access to the Celtic Board.

In what is rapidly becoming a media circus akin to something like "Celt Idol" since "Im a ginger - get me out of here" left the Parkhead hotseat, yet another manager is installed as favourite and then a formal approach is denied/refused by the target's club.

How long before Ant, Dec and Davina get involved in this farce?

Tony Mowbray is not an unpopular choice, a man who brought the huddle to the Club, and a man who was no stranger to personal tragedy. His brand of football and deep thinking style make him an attractive prospect but will he have the experience to transfer his potential into success?

Will we ever know the answer to that question? Well according to a senior source at West Bromich Albion, it would appear that we will never know. Or will we?

West Brom have now issued three separate statements in the last nine days denying any official approach had been made by the Parkhead club. The latest came yesterday afternoon. "We have not received any official approach from Celtic regarding Tony," said a club spokesman.

The latest indication is that Celtic are denying the approach also. Oh and since Tony and his family are currently on Holiday somewhere in Devon, the stories that Peter Lawwell was 'locked in talks' with Mowbray appear wide of the mark.

I wonder who tomorrows dead cert will be?

Ps Tony Adams is mental!

Yours in Celtic
