Rangers Football Club, also known as the bastion of inclusion has reneged on a pledge to accommodate Celtic fans in Wheelchairs. In a move that provoked anger it was noted earlier this year that Rangers were excluding Disabled Celtic fans access to derby matches due to "logistical problems", a problem that exists today despite Rangers stating that the problem would be solved during the close season.

A Rangers spokesperson said to the Sunday Mirror in April this year;

"All Scottish clubs currently have access with the exception of Celtic, simply because of the strict segregation arrangements.

"Celtic are allocated the entire Broomloan Stand when they visit, but the design and toilet access at this location are proving more difficult to overcome. The club's architect is currently developing plans to achieve this."

A spokesman for the Association of Disabled Football Supporters said: "This is discrimination. It's disgusting and we plan to write to Rangers about this.

There is no reason why Rangers can't accommodate disabled Celtic fans."

So the question remains, what have Rangers Football Club done in order to accommodate these fans and furthermore is it in line with the Disability Discrimination Act.

We hope so.
