The result against Dundee United and the unfortunate injury to bobo Balde may just be the wake up call that Celtic need. The transfer window is open and Celtic must take advantage of it.
Over the past 2 months Celtic have been lethargic, the bhoys have been winning games by the skin of their teeth and although we have shown a great fighting spirit which bodes well for the future, we have also shown that we can't compete with the likes of AC Milan.
Yes we have put in the usual decent performance but in truth we have been tactically naive in many cases and we have players like Zurawski and Jarosik who are passengers at best and who contribute very little.
Celtic have two choices.We can copy what we did after the Uefa cup final and struggle on with a team who can do reasonably well in the SPL or we can do what we should have done then and improve the team to give us a chance of getting past a few teams in the Champions league and getting the money that we spend back from the Champions league wins.
Come on Celtic. Don't make the same mistake again and its time to stand up and be counted..
