Virgo To Coventry

Coventry manager Mickey Adams has approached Celtic with an interest in signing Adam Virgo before the transfer window closes. Adams is said to be an admirer of Virgo after they were both at Brighton and sees the player as a valuable addition to his squad.

Virgo has not featured in the plans of Celtic manager Gordon Strachan and has only played 12 times for the club and 8 of these have been from the bench.

Virgo has had a mixed reaction from the hoops fans as he has not yet played a really good game but has shown potential and it is thought that a run in the team may have been enough to allow the player to blossom. Virgo has had a stuttering career at Celtic and it looks as if manager Strachan will accept the first reasonable offer from Coventry.
