VALGAEREN MAY NEED ANOTHER OP

Joos Valgaren may require another hernia operation and could miss the Scottish cup final and his trip to the World Cup with Belgium.

Valgaren had been back in training and doing well but he broke down again this week and according to Celtic manager Martin O'Neill, speaking in this week's Celtic View, the outlook is rather gloomy at the moment:

"Joos think he has a hernia on either side of his pelvis.

"We don't know the exact details yet but he is going back to Germany to see
the specialist and he may require another operation.

"If an operation is needed, then we have no choice but to go with it. If
that is the case, then he would be out of the Scottish Cup final while his
chances of making the World Cup will also be much slimmer.

"We are disappointed because, after the initial operation, Joos was doing
very well and we were looking forward to having him back in the near
future."

Valgaren's absence would be a major blow to Celtic's cup final preperations and the player himself would be devastated at missing out on a trip to Japan.
