Tuesday Afternoon Shorts - Jackie is a Bairn, William Hill Offer Odds on UEFA Pitch invasion.

Former Celtic Captain Jackie McNamara has joined former Celtic team mate John Hughes at Falkirk in a two-year deal. Hughes said: "Jackie is different class. The ultimate professional, who can play in a number of positions.

"For the youngsters at the club it will be brilliant to train and play with him. Jackie has bags of experience at international level and importantly experience in big games and of winning things, something we will need at Falkirk if we are to kick on and take the club to the next level."

In other news, it would appear that Ranger's style of play and bad reputation of its fan base has inspired William Hill to offer a novel treble:

Rangers to win without scoring in 120 minutes 18-1

Rangers to get awarded the Trophy in the dressing room due to crowd trouble (Again) 25-1

Rangers to get banned from Europe next season 50-1

Anyone for a treble with an accumulator?

And finally it would appear that Darth Edgar and his cronies at the RST are appealing to the Club and the support to boycott Tannadice next season in response (revenge) for their "Anti-Rangers Bile".

You should put more effort into defending your songs, as the response I saw to a Celtic fan asking for comment from the Rangers Supporters Trust regarding the "why don't you go home" song beggars belief and alledges that it is a "Mickey take"

Not a brain cell between them.

Yours in Celtic
