Sutton happening

Chris SuttonChris Sutton played for Celtic between 2000 and 2006 but he is still a Bhoy at heart. He also played for Norwich, Blackburn and Chelsea but it was Parkhead he decided to return to today to launch his autobiography, 'Paradise and Beyond' written with Mark Guidi. During his career his transfer fees came to more £20m and I am sure he has earned a few £ for himself along the way. His life is full of ups and downs with his playing career littered with prizes and controversy in equal measure. He refused to play for Glenn Hoddle's England and a disastrous season with Chelsea pay testament to the fact he did not always make the right decision along the way. However, making history with Celtic and Blackburn did ease the pain somewhat.

In his autobiography, Sutton is not shy in telling it like it is - warts and all. He gives his honest assesment of managers he has played under such as Hoddle, Kenny Dalglish, Martin O'Neill and Gianluca Vialli. He also tells the tale of his controversial departure from Celtic and lasy the blame firmly at the door of one Gordon Strachan.
