SUTTON AND PETTA READY FOR BIG DAY

Injured Celtic stars Chris Sutton and Bobby Petta could be ready to play a part in Celtic's final thrust for the championship tomorrow at Celtic Park.

The champions elect take on Livingstone in apremier league encounter and three points would ensure that the league championship trophy remains at Paradise for another season at least.

In a week that has been dominated by talk of league splits and unsigned television contracts it will be good to get back to the football again and a party atmosphere is certain to prevail as the Bhoys go for two in a row.

Livingstone have provided pretty stiff opposition in the league so far this season and they will be out to spoil the big day, however, Celtic, if they hit some half decent form, should be able to brish aside the West Lothian Lions and give the 60, 000 fans a chance to party well into the night.

It would be nice to see Sutton back in the hoops again and it would give the team a lift going into the Scottish cup final knowing a player of his calibre is available once more. Petta, too, has had a season blighted with injury and he needs games to get him back in the running for a regular first team slot. His ability to beat a man and get a cross in has been sorely missed this season.

Lastly, let's hear it tomorrow for Auld Tam Boyd in what could be one of his last big days at the club. Tommy has served the club well and he deserves our special thanks, as does wee Lubo who will be leaving for pastures new come the end of the season.

Wherever you are, and whoever you are, enjoy the big day and make sure your celebrations are loud enough to be heard on the south - west of the City.
Last year we showed them how to party - lets do it all again with the same style.

Keep the faith.
