In a slow day so far as Celtic news goes, we bring you a tale from North Yorkshire regarding former Celtic Park hero and Hun-Skelper extraordinaire Alan Thompson.
Alan was always a favourite of mine and was the most consistent player (Henrik aside) from 2003 till 2005. He scored some very important goals, probably none more than the opener against Stuttgart in the Gottileb-Dailmler Stadium.
It would appear that Alan has impressed his new employers suitably and has been rewarded with a new one year deal!
