Sunderland after Lennon

Last updated : 31 August 2006 By Jack Kennedy
Sunderland manager Roy Keane has made it clear that he would love to have Neil Lennon in his side and last minute moves are being made to capture the Celtic captain

Keane has always said that Neil Lennon would be an asset to any team and it is thought that Lennon will be offered a one year deal later on today.

The signing of Thomas Graveson may sway Lennon in his decision to leave the hoops and he would no doubt provide the experience that is missing from the Sunderland side.
