Strachans Visit to Amsterdam

Gordon Strachan's visit to Amsterdam to meet with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has been described as "Very Successful" and it looks as if the Player may yet be in the hoops at the start of the season. The JFH deal has been ongoing for some time but after the Celtic manager visited Amsterdam for talks it has taken a step nearer completion, Celtic have been chasing JFH everywhere and also had talks with the player in London earlier this week. Strachan travelled to Warsaw seperately from the rest of the Squad yesterday and and arrived directly from Amsterdam in time to see Legia Warsaw beat Celtic by a single goal. Legia had two games under their belt already and the game was nothing more than a useful training excercise for the bhoys who still have SEVEN pre-season games left to sharpen up before the start of the SPL. Hasselbainks agents have confirmed that he will be 100 percent available to the right club and that his preference is for Celtic.
