Strachan selling the Jerseys in the Guardian

Celtic fans are in two minds over Gordon Strachan's decision to write articles for the Guardian during the world cup finals, The Celtic manager's articles look as if they are heavy on the tactics that he would like to see employed at Celtic and it is thought that this is giving a valuable insight to Champions league opponents. Its a free country and Strachan is out to make a living so perhaps we should not read too much into this and there are a lot more managers out there that do exactly the same thing.

Strachan however does like to "show off" his tactical awareness and does like to talk in depth about team tactics and a section of the Celtic support are concerned that a full time manager should not talk in quite so much detail about the way he likes teams to play as this may give our champions league opponents a slight advantage. The other side to the coin is that he talks better tactics than he actually employs and so the Celtic camp is divided. Should Strachan give away his tactical secrets? Or does it really matter?. In My opinion Celtic should be of the utmost priority to the Manager and under no circumstances should a Celtic manager talk about his tactical decisions in such depth. Celtic first, Celtic last, Celtic overall.
