The football took second place tonight as Spanish police moved in to stop Rangers supporters displaying Nazi salutes, Home fans who objected to the salutes that came from a large section of the away support had complained to the police who were then ordered to stop the salutes and were met by a shower of abuse and missiles from the Rangers support.
Riot police then had to be called in to try to calm the disgraceful scenes and television viewers across the world were shown scenes of hate filled supporters abusing the police. Unfortunately it is Scotland that gets the bad name and once again Glasgow Rangers supporters have let themselves and their country down.
Last week the Celtic support was applauded out of the San Siro by the police and medical staff and this week the Rangers supporters are being led out by riot police. Is it no wonder that Celtic supporters want to be seperated from these "people" and the sooner the "Old firm" tag gets dropped the better.
