The tie between Celtic and Dundee United or Ayr United will be shown live on Sky Sports and will kick off at 12.45 pm on Saturday, 23 March. Well, that should be the case, but, there is a possibility that match and television schedules on that day will be rearranged.
If the FA Cup tie between Arsenal and Newcastle United on 9 March is a draw, the replay has been provisionally arranged for 12 noon on 23 March and will be shown live on Sky Sports.
In that is the case then the Tennent's Scottish Cup semi-final will be played at 5.35 pm, but will still be shown live on Sky Sports. This issue will be resolved before tickets go on sale.
This shambles is a total insult to the fans who may be ttravelling from a distance to see the game or who may have to make arrangements well in advance of the game. Of course, the fans are the last people considered when these decisions are made.
