From sky Sports;

Scott Brown has revealed that once he had spoken to Gordon Strachan, he was in no doubt that he would join Celtic.

Brown was paraded before the media on Monday, having sealed his move from Hibernian.

The midfielder had been linked with a move to England, as Reading and Middlesbrough held an interest, but Brown claims he had no doubts about joining Celtic.

When asked if he had considered moving south, the 21-year-old said: "No. Once I spoke to Peter (Lawell) and Gordon that was my mind made up. I wanted to join Celtic.

"Why not join Celtic? They are a good club, they have won the SPL and they won another cup a couple of days ago.

"They made the last 16 of the Champions League, so you can't say no to that."

Rumours are floating around today that Celtic are set to unveil a big name signing within the next week. Details are sketchy but our mole informs us that a massive signing is imminent.

We expect to have more details later today. The main name that we keep hearing was on the bench for last weeks Champions League final and is said to be none to happy to have been snubbed for a defender when his team were two down.

Poor Paul Hartley had a heart attack on Saturday when he realised that he had lost his Cup Final Winners medal. Daft Paul dropped the gong whilst enjoying celebrations after Saturdays win in the premier cup competition.

Stories that Paul lost it in midfield are un-confirmed at this time!

Yours in Celtic
