Samaras - There is a Lot More to Come from Me!

Georgios Samaras has today stated that he believes that is on his way to returning fully from injury a stronger player with not only increased determination to win silverware at Celtic but also to improve on the great form he displayed in the early stages of the season.

"I had a good start to the season and I was scoring a lot of goals," said Samaras. The praise for that shouldn't all go to me though. Without my team-mates, none of the goals would be possible.

"My injury came at bad time but that's football. We are players and part of the game is that you get injured sometimes. There's nothing you can do about that.

"I think there is a lot more to come from me. Within myself, I am feeling much better this week and I am now fully recovered from my operation. I feel stronger now."

Sami also took time to look forward to the visit of Hearts and advised a hint of caution ahead of the important league tie that should hopefully see us remain at least 4 points clear of perennial also-rans Rangers.

Samaras said: "Hearts are doing well at the moment. They have won a lot of games and always make it hard for you. I watched them beat Rangers and they are a strong side.

"However, we just have to look at ourselves and concentrate on our game. It will be difficult, but we have to make sure that we play our usual type of football and get three points. That's the most important thing."

Indeed! Three points are all that matters.

Yours in Celtic
