Rumours,Rants and Raves

We live in interesting times. Now that Barry Ferguson has taken over Glasgow Rangers his next move seems to be applying for US citizenship so that he may run for president. The Gers are in turmoiu and today there was a fight outside ibrox between the pro bazza movement and the Barry must go section of the PLG Loyal.

Fisticuffs ensued outside the main door of Ibrox at teatime as a few Rangers neds had a slight disagreement and although that sort of behaviour is not totally unexpected from the great unwashed it was noted that the protagonists were suited up men well into their 50's.

And so to the latest cyber rumours. Paul Hartley at Parkhead?. No real evidence of this one but it comes from a decent source. Gary O'Connor having talks with Celtic due to being unhappy with his current lifestyle (well skodas are better now but those hairy bedsheets are still murder).

Rangers have financial problems after the PLG payoff and the Hibs pairing of Thomson and Brown which was part of the Gers shopping list may be scrubbed and Celtic MIGHT just move in quickly. Wee Shaun has done a u-turn because no-one wants him and we will soon get the "Celtic are the only team I ever wanted to play for" speech from the wee man.

All in all a very interesting week and Brian McBride from Fulham talking to the Celts after Fulham sign Two players who can play in his position will make things even more interesting.
