Rumour Rumour everywhere but not a sentence to quote.

Regular readers of my daily rants (Hi Mum) will know that I don’t like entering into debate regarding transfer rumours unless they are substantiated, preferably from the players mouth and not some self proclaimed ‘player representative’. (Football speak for w@*ky hanger-on)

First of all we board the good ship Irony (its sister ship The Dignity is in for repairs) as we take a trip down Govan way to here the ramblings of the Govan perma-tan. "Daniel Cousin does not have a 1.5M release clause, he has a 3M release cause. I have no respect for people who conduct their business in the media"

Silly Bain, which member of PR staff allowed him to come out with that gaffe?

Ps does this remind you of another player that Rangers signed from France who was instantly linked with a Premiership move? Does MrBain fancy another "Sell player get property deal"?

Rumours are also abound that Kris Boydichenko is on his way to Derby with Kenny Miller heading in the opposite direction. Given Wattenaccios love of the 4-5-1 lone striker system this one may have more credence than first catches the eye. I hope we have a sell on clause in Kenny’s current contract.

And then we return to the McFadden for Celtic rumour. This is not news as he is linked with a move to the hoops almost as often as Robbie Keane. I for one would rather bring in a forward with proven consistency rather than a squad player like McFadden. I think the January Transfer window is a time to purchase first team players only.

I would rather have the former young player of the year making a triumphant return to Paradise than a player who struggles to get more than 30 mins football each week! Having said that though our first priority in this upcoming window is to secure at least one experienced full back.

Ps one also heard that the Rangers Trust were forced to pull a statement regarding Artur Boruc in the last Derby game at Ibrox. Supposedly the Trust had issued a statement based on the Sun’s translation of a Boruc interview to a Polish paper.

It couldn’t have been a timposter who correctly translated the article though could it?

Yours in Celtic
