Police filming Celtic fans in Aberdeen

Last updated : 17 February 2007 By Jack Kennedy
Police have moved in to record seat numbers and video the crowd at Pittodrie. Grampian Police along with officers from other forces have been taking videos of the away support. One group of Celtic fans had been singing "Roll of Honour" and ALL seat numbers have been taken. The match is only half an hour old but reports have been coming in from our reporters at the game telling us that the police presence is heavy

The Celtic fans are in jubilant mood (well we are 2-0 up) ;) but the police presence is disconcerting and fans are objecting to being video recorded.

IF you know anyone at the game you can text them and tell them to ask the police for a copy of any images that they have taken without their permission and that under the data protection act they must provide you with that information. Let The People SING.
