The Petrov U-turn seems to be gathering momentum and the Celtic player has been talking about "continuing to stay in Glasgow". Petrov was being congratulated on his charity work which largely remains private but was highlighted a few weeks ago when the player donted a cheque to the Craighalbert centre in Cumbernauld which had been vandalised.

The cheque for £2500 was one of his man of the match awards and it is a little known fact that Petrov is a great champion of childrens charities. Talking to Bulgarian Journalists about his charity work it has been reported that Petrov would be continuing to help charities in and around the Glasgow area because they would be 2remaining his local charities for the forseeable future".
