So what's changed ?
Over the last 2 weeks WGS has tried to reach several objectives which has seen, unsurprisingly in my eyes, some poor pre season results and performances. ie..............
a) bed in 5 new signings
b) achieve match fitness for 23 squad members by means of squad rotation, playing players out of position
c) keep Petrov in the shop window by playing him, which is like playing with 10 men
d) rest Nakamura, our best ball retaining midfielder, and Magic - our top scorer
e) play mostly without Maloney, our best player
The season is about to start, the fun is over, and our strongest starting 11 has already been decided. Will the real Celtic please step forward.
Now it seems we're going to sign a left back with 60 International caps, a world class striker and midfielder. Let's get behind the great Celtic Football Club from top to bottom and stop all this doom and gloom that's already emerged before a competitive ball has been kicked in anger.
