Pearson to Derby?

Celtic manager Gordon Strachan has said that he does not want to let Stephen Pearson go and that he is still a valuable player to have in his squad. This has been seen By Derby as an attempt to push up the players value before finally allowing the player to leave. Derby Manager Billy Davies likes Pearson a lot after their days together at Motherwell and Pearson has been said to be happy to move to Derby to get a shot at regular first team football


A £600,000 bid has been made for the player and it is thought thought a slightly higher bid would secure the player. Celtic fans tend to like Pearson but would not miss him greatly if he was to leave..
