Pantomime villain charged with offending racist mob

It's an unprecedented move by the governing body as far as I'm aware and the closest scenario I can think of would be Gazza's infamous flute playing incident.

Sorry, I mean Gazza's second infamous flute playing incident.

You'll recall Gazza was hauled over the coals by the SFA for that one. You don't? Oh that's right he wasn't. A spokesman for the SFA said "We will have to wait until we see the referee's report before we decide to take any action." Later after a lot of press coverage of the incident the SFA's infamous Chief Executive, Jim Farry, 'threatened' to take action against the player and his club if Rangers did not discipline him. Cue Walter Smith later confirming that Gascoigne had been privately disciplined but refusing to say what that punishment had entailed. Smith said: "All these things are disappointing from our own point of view. We always try to handle them internally. This was dealt with internally as indeed have all the other indiscretions in the past." Ain't that the truth Walt!

SFA bias confirmed
Following Fergus McCann's exposure of anti-Celtic practice within the SFA, and the removal of the corrupt anti-Celtic chief executive Jim Farry, it seemed possible that the SFA's bias against the club would be consigned to history. Recently we've had the new head of the organisation admit that he used to regard Catholic schools football teams as 'the enemy' so it seems that the more things change the more they remain the same.

It's no surprise that under Smith's regime we are not to be offered the option of internal discipline in the case of the Holy Goalie. It seem's that his indiscretion was of such severity that, following a quick re-hash of their articles of association, the SFA have deemed only a public flogging will be acceptable in this case.

Rangers fans offended
Offended Rangers fans? Do me a favour! You couldn't give some of their fans a red neck with a blowtorch. These 'fans' really are Scotland's Shame. Follow-following UEFA punishments and warnings of further sanctions the Rangers songbook has had to be hastily re-written with all sectarian references removed. These offensive sectarian songs have been replaced by offensive racist songs and offensive songs mocking the sexual abuse of children.

If the SFA, in their attempt to clean up the game, are pursuing Artur Boruc on the basis of a newspaper photo then I'd suggest that whilst perusing that media they should start reading Graham Spiers of the Times. He'll point them in the direction of the Ibrox Park stands as the area most in need of fumigation.

Artur Boruc is the pantomime baddie in Scottish football but the SFA should be pursuing the vile real-life creatures that pollute our footballing world and not the caricature.
