OUR FRIENDS FROM HOLLAND

Thousands of Dutchmen have arrived in Glasgow for a Uefa cup tie in the city tonight and for many of them the first port of call has been the Celtic superstore at Celtic Park to stock up on Celtic souveniers and memorabilia. The Feynoord fans have long had an affinity with the Parkhead club and many were delighted to be able to visit Paradise and take in the stadium tour.

The Celtic shop in Glasgow's Argyle street has seen a steady stream of Feynoord fans visiting today and many of them have gone away with official merchandise including Celtic strips and scarves.

Over in the Gorbals the Brazen Head public house has been swamped by thirsty Feynoord fans desperate to get a few drinks in before they head off to the game at Castle Greyskull.

The Celtic - Feynoord link is further enforced by the appearance of former Celtic hero Pierre Van Hooijdonk in the red and white. The big hitman will like nothing better than to put the ball in the back of the net agaianst his old foes and is relishing the challenge of a visit to Ibrox.
