O'Dea: Losing to them is horrible

The Huns have taken pole position in the SPL title race after yesterdays Glasgow derby at Ibrox and a disappointed Darren O’Dea knows that the only thing Celtic can do now is to win their remaining three games and hope someone else can take points from the Huns.  "We have the experience of coming from behind.” he said. “We will put that to best use now we're coming to the run-in.  I don't know how Rangers will cope, you'd need to ask them how they feel.   But there are big games coming up and big performances are needed now.”

"It's frustrating that it's out of our hands.” continued Celtic’s number 48. “To lose to Rangers in any game is a horrible feeling and it's no different now. But we need to pick ourselves up quickly.  I would say we were the better team but at the end of the day that is worth nothing.  They've won the match and it's just a case of picking ourselves up for Tuesday.”

"I don't know if the players were frightened to make mistakes but the atmosphere was great and everyone was up for it. It just didn't happen for us on the day.” he said. “We need to go and win our next three games and hope that Rangers drop points but all we can do is concentrate on ourselves and that will start against Dundee United. “

“I believe we can win our remaining matches.” concluded O’Dea. “We will be confident even though we lost today. We can only focus on ourselves and hope other teams do us favours.  I was struggling on Thursday and it didn't look as if I was going to make it.  But in a game like that your adrenaline will take you through. I am a bit sore now and I will need to look at it again in the morning.  I hope to be okay for the rest of the season."
