Steve HarperThere is still no movement of the transfer front despite continued  interest in Arsenal's Sol Campbell and Newcastle's Steve Harper. The Toon's manager Chris Hughton has dismissed rumours that he is willing to allow Harper to leave and replace Artur Boruc at Parkhead. Hughton says he has no intention of selling long-serving keeper Harper. He said: "I can categorically state that there is nothing in that. We just won't sell him. He's our No.1 goalkeeper, he had a great season for us and he's a very important member of our squad."

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has still to make up his mind about Campell's future with the London club. The former England centre-back made a return to the Gunners in January on a short-term deal, which expired at the end of the season. The 35-year-old is now a free agent and is considering his options having held talks with Celtic. And although the former Tottenham and Portsmouth man has stated he would prefer to agree a new deal at the Emirates Stadium, the matter is yet to be cleared up. Campbell, who began last season with an ill-fated spell in League Two with Notts County, feels he still has much to offer having made a strong finish to the campaign with Arsenal. He was even disappointed to be overlooked for England's World Cup squad, with Fabio Capello opting to bring Ledley King and Jamie Carragher out of the international wilderness ahead of himself.
