No Strachan at Aberdeen game?

Gordon Strachan will miss Saturday’s game against Aberdeen as he has undergone hip surgery this week.

According to the official site the surgery was initially scheduled to take place in June but Mon the Hoops understands that a fear of going under the knife and pride was what really stopped the operation taking place LAST MAY!

The official site would have us believe however that the operation has been moved forward so that Strachan can be available for pre-season training, but it is widely rumoured that the operation was put off due to him not wanting to have a false hip added before his parents!

Nice one Gordon! A cyber bag of grapes and bottle of lucozade to you!

To end on a funny note, when Strachan was asked if he feels that a certain referee whom has sent the diminutive manager to the stand twice this season is out to get him WGS quipped "Maybe I scored a goal against his team 30 years ago"!
