Never seen before today - Celtic on ZDF

As the champions of Scotland and Germany prepared to lock horns in Europe's premier competition at the same time as Scotland's also-rans from the south side of the city prepared to play Bundesliga side Koln (Cologne) in a lesser competition, there was a great deal of interest in the Glasgow clubs from the German public.

German TV channel ZDF devoted a segment of their 'Sports Reportage' programme to these upcoming games involving Celtic and Rangers and this is the footage from that programme which was screened by ZDF in October 1988.

This is a very rare film and it's most likely you won't have seen this unless you lived in Germany at that time. Newly uploaded today (25th September)
