Much Adu about nothing

Recent news articles about Freddy Adu and his "interest" In playing for Celtic have been played down by the player and his agents. The Seventeen year old player is also thought to be more valuable playing in America or for an English premiership club As he is sponsored by Nike who are looking for maximum exposure for their upcoming star. The Nike deal in itself is enough to make sure that Adu does NOT come to Celtic and although Celtic's deal with Nike is alive and kicking Nike feel that they will get more value for money if the player goes elsewhere. The player is also said to be aware of the rigours of playing in the SPL and the joys of a winter Wednesday night league game in Motherwell will not be high on his list of things to do before he retires.
