Mjallby job opportunity

The experience Johan Mjallby is picking up at Parkhead could make him a valuable commodity back home in Sweden. He already has the chance to become manager of AIK Stockholm but he admits he would rather stay at Parkhead.

The former Sweden international said: "Obviously there is a bit of speculation about the AIK Stockholm job. I played at AIK for so many years so I can sit on the fence on that one and bide my time. I'm ready for it but I'd rather be here. They asked me if I was interested a couple of weeks ago but I told them I wanted to focus on Celtic and as I said, I would rather be here. This is a fantastic opportunity and if I got it I would really be up for it. Neil and I haven't spoken about it because we don't know what is going to happen but I'm quite sure Neil has been happy with me otherwise he wouldn't have brought me in. He knows what I'm all about and I have tried to give him my best."
