McGeady Pens New Contract

Celtic today announced the fantastic news that youngster Aiden McGeady has signed for a further four years with the club.

McGeady has been a big player in Celtic's Under 21 title winning side, and broke through into the first team towards the end of the season. After a man of the match winning performance on his debut, where he scored Celtic's only goal of the game, he has appeared in three more games, showing signs of what has yet to come.

Anyone who has watched Aiden at Under 21 level will realise that the securing of his signature at Parkhead for the near future is a massive boost. In two years time he will be one of the finest players in the country, and it feels great to have him at the club for another four years.

McGeady has reportedly been on trials at Manchester United and Arsenal, but is Celtic through and through. He is one for the present, as well as the future, and I look forward to seeing him in action next season.
