News has been filtering through since last night’s talk shows regarding the return to Paradise of one Shaun Maloney. The Daily Retard broke the story this morning that Shaun was ‘homesick’ and that Vila were prepared to allow him to return for 1M.
This story, which has more holes than a tea bag has grown legs since many forum members on other Celtic sites started reporting that Maloney was at Parkhead for talks today? (Did someone see a toy car parked in the car park)?
One wonders how a young man who was born in Malaysia, moved to Aberdeen in his childhood and then subsequently transferred to Glasgow in his teens could be bothered by an acute condition such as homesickness? That’s like accusing a pilot of having a fear of heights!
One also wonders what Aston Celtic has to gain from this deal? The only way I could see this as a feasible deal in the Brummies eyes if it were a swop deal? Jarosik or maybe Balde perchance?
