Maloney Joins Villa in the summer

Word coming from Celtic park tonight is that Shaun Maloney has signed a pre-contract which will take him to Aston Villa in the Summer. However speculation is that Maloney has the option to stay at Celtic should Celtic offer him a 70 PERCENT increase on his current deal.

Maloney who has been popular at Celtic park has NOT been getting into the first team due to injury and word at the club is that the management had decided to put the player on the back shelf due to his erratic attitude towards contract talks.
