Lennon To Miss Euro Tie

Celtic were today given the dissapointing and frustrating news that Neil Lennon
will be banned for the tie against Czech side FC Teplice.

Lennon was reported to UEFA after Celtic's final Champions League match this season, away to Lyon, after he reacted angrily to decisions made by the referee throughout the game.

Celtic were hoping to have the ban waved but a decision was today made by UEFA to uphold the ban, and the midfielder will have to watch the games from the stand.

Teplice come visiting Celtic Park on the 26th March, and the Hoops travel for the away tie a week later, on March 3rd.

Neil Lennon has been many Celtic fans' player of the season so far, and has been nicknamed 'The General' for his commanding midfield performances. He will be badly missed for the start of our UEFA Cup campaign.
