LEICESTER HEADING FOR SELL OUT

Leicester City Football club are expecting a sell out for the friendly game against Celtic.

Last night a spokeman for the club outlined the clubs hopes for the game that sees Martin O'Neill return to Filbert street for the first time since leaving in the summer of 2000:

"We are expecting a big Celtic contingent and I would not be surprised, given that it will be the first time Martin has come back, that it will be a near sell-out.

"I think he will be given a terrific reception as he is still adored by the fans down here. He will always be a legend at Filbert Street.

"This game has been held over since Steve Walford moved up to Glasgow. Celtic had already paid compensation for Martin, so it was agreed the gate receipts from this game would act as compensation for Steve."

Given the samll size of Filbert street and the large Celtic away support, tickets are bound to be at a premium.
