Speaking on Sunday the International defender made clear his intentions for the rest of the season:
"It is quite a lovely feeling to win a trophy. It is the bonus you get after a hard day at work. Last season we won three and this year we want to hold on to two. As a player you want to win trophies. The CIS cup is not possible any more so the Scottish cup is in everyone's mind. We are very much up for it."
Valgaeren faces a fitness sweat over next week's old firm game, having already been ruled out of Monday's Scottish Cup tie at Pittodrie with a persistant abdomibnal injury that only rest will cure.
