Emilio Izaguirre IEmilio Izaguirre will get the chance to make his comeback from a hamstring injury as he will be part of a youthful side taking on Partick Thistle today. The Honduras international did not travel to Australia with the rest of the first-team squad as he concentrated on overcoming the injury that forced him to miss his country's Gold Cup campaign last month in the USA. There are no plans for any of the Oz travelling party to be involved as they did not arrive back in Scotland until less than 24 hours before kick-off.

Danny McGrain will take a "very young team" to face former Celtic captain Jackie McNamara's side, but some more experienced out-of-favour players will be involved. McGrain said: "Jos Hooiveld, Josh Thompson and Morten Rasmussen will be included after being away on-loan last season, while Emilio Izaguirre will also get a half so we can see if he is over his injuries. Hopefully he comes through it with flying colours."
