Martin O'neill will not admit it yet but the title is in the bag for Celtic.

Speaking after last night's 4-0 win over Motherwell the Celtic boss went just one step short of admitting the Bhoys are the champions for the second year running:

"We played very well tonight. It was a great goal to start proceedings and a pretty good goal to end it.

"Paul deserved the man-of-the match award. It was a terrific move and worthy of the championship.

"We're very, very close now. That was very convincing for us.

"From start to finish the players were excellent and up for the game.

"We are very close now and I've got to say it's within touching distance."

Celtic must wait until Monday to find out who their opponents will be in the game that finally nails the championship.
