With the first Old Firm game of the season under a week away, Celts are hardly in the best of shape, according to reports today.

After missing yesterday's game due to a hamstring strain, it was thought that Chris Sutton would be alright for next week's game. However, the strain is apparently worse than first thought, and he is a 'major doubt' for the Rangers game, accoring to the Celtic website. Sutton has missed a couple of Old Firm games before and has also just made it on one or two occasions. Sunday will probably see Henri Camara partnering John Hartson up-front.

Team Captain Jackie McNamara is fighting to get back to fitness and his training programme will probably rule him out Sunday's match. Stanislav Varga, who was taken off against ICT yesterday, is also thought to be struggling. This could see Joos Valgaeren and Ulrik Laursen in contention for a start against Rangers. Oh dear.
