Erik Huseklepp IINeil Lennon has confirmed he is considering a fresh offer to bring Norwegian striker Erik Huseklepp to Parkhead. Lennon was on his trail during the January transfer window, but pulled out of a £2million deal due to the fee. Huseklepp eventually left Brann to join Bari in Italy. However, the chase could be on again as the Italian side has been relegated from Serie A. Lennon is in the market for attacking reinforcements and has also been linked with Manchester City's Craig Bellamy and former Cardiff City forward Jay Bothroyd.

Though Lennon did not confirm whether he would make a fresh bid for Huseklepp, he acknowledged he is an option for Celtic. He said: "He's a player we liked the look of at the time. Talks broke down because they wanted too much money. But it's a possibility given Bari's situation. He's just one of the options in the hat."
