I hope you die in your sleep Nacho Novo

I bear the ex-Raith Rovers player and present day Rangers squad member no ill whatsoever and I would encourage all Celtic fans to sing the above lyrics if they are disposed to sing anything at all about the rat-faced little forward.

I think my plan to have these lyrics adopted will be successful and soon you'll hear just as many people singing this version as you will the 'IRA bullet' song. Yes, indeed, that means you probably won't ever hear it being sung unless you're unfortunate enough to bump into a couple of mentally challenged buckie fuelled neds giving it laldy in the Gallowgate.

But that's enough to bring it onto a par with offensive racist songs sung by thousands in major sporting arenas and into mainstream media debate and it'll give Ratcho another reason to talk to the press.

Today it seems that once again Ratcho is trying to reinforce his cult status with the Orcs by re-hashing yesterday's news about just how much Celtic fans hate him "Rivalry between the teams remains something more than sporting. I have even received death threats this year. I have seen on YouTube there is a video with a guy singing with his guitar that he hopes I die. That kind of thing has an impact on you" he bleated self-pityingly.

"In the four years I have been here I have been through everything" he said exaggeratingly, "Every time I face Celtic, the tyres of my car are punctured, the windows of my house are broken and I have been sent threatening letters. It is a pretty disagreeable situation."

Those who know Novo's MO will have been looking at his most recent whining in a Spanish football magazine for his obligatory 'I love the huns and pure hate that mhanky mob' references and the vermin-faced forward didn't disappoint on this occasion "Rangers have treated me so well, the fans have become like a family to me" he said in reference to the fans recently convicted of offensive sectarian behaviour by European football's governing body UEFA.

But in this instance Ratcho omitted his usual dig at the bhoys and in the spirit of reconciliation he had some nice words of comfort for the Celtic support "No matter how much money was put in front of me I would never sign for Celtic." he said reassuringly.

Phew!
