HOW DO YOU REPLACE A GENIUS?

Celtic star Lubomir Moravcik, who retires at the end of this season, has indicated that the club will not miss his services as much as some people think. The little Slovak genius is now almost 37 and is ready for a move into coaching abroad. He insists that Celtic have the talent at Parkhead to replace him:

“No one is irreplaceable, It would be nice to go out on a high. Winning the title would be the right time to go but I will always come back to see the games after I have left”

Lubo also insists that it was the tremendous support he received from the Celtic fans that kept his legs going for the last couple of seasons:

“Performing here in front of 60,000 fans is a fantastic experience and it pushed me to give my absolute maximum.”

“For a guy like me. Who is older, playing in front of an audience like that motivates you and means you are always striving to do your best.”

Despite his words Lubo will be sorely missed at Celtic Park, as yet there is no one ready to fill his boots and Celtic fans only hope that Martin O'Neill can come up with a replacement in the summer. It will be no mean feat if he does.
