Has McDonald Signed for Celtic?

With no official comment emanating from Celtic Park regarding the much reported signing of Scott McDonald we ask ourselves the following.
Have Celtic had last minute jitters or will we see white smoke rising from Janefield street this afternoon?

The next question we have to ask ourselves (a similar question will be getting asked by certain players) is what does this mean for an already over subscribed position?

The main question I am asking myself is "is he really better than what we already have and will he improve the squad"?

The only way I could see him adding anything new to Celtics attack if WGS was to go for a three-man forward line with McDonald on the right and Riordan (pronounced Riordan) on the left

With no fewer than 5 (soon to be six) existing players challenging for 2 positions what is the future? Only Big Jan can waken up this morning knowing that he wont need to hand in his hoopy the huddle hound pyjamas!

So who will be starting alongside the big named Dutchman next season?

Who do you think should be starting up front?
Is it time for Riordan (pronounced Riordan) to get a run as a striker?

Is it curtains for Miller, Beats and Magic?
Will the rumours of other striker targets come to fruition in the summer?

Only time will answer these and all the other questions that the Celtic support have, all I can say is that I will have a great time debating all the permutations of this issue.

A final point on Scott McDonald. To those who are positive about the signing of this player, good on you for being positive. For those of you who are disappointed we have signed the wee nyaff, at least he's our wee nyaff!

Yours in Celtic
