John Hartson has won his appeal against the red card he was given in error in last Sunday's Old Firm game.

The SFA made the announcement on their website as follows:

"Celtic player John Hartson today won his appeal against the red card he was
shown in Sunday's Old Firm match.

He was sent off for violent conduct in the final minutes of the match
against Rangers, but appealed against the decision by referee Kenny Clark.
The SFA Disciplinary Committee met today to review video footage of the
incident, and decided that the player's appeal should be upheld.

He is therefore free to play in this weekend's match and the 12 penalty
points against his record will be deleted."
