Gravesen going no-where?

Despite a season that has failed to live up to expectation, Tommy Gravesen’s agent John Sivabaek says that talk of TG’s Celtic demise is premature.

Sivabaek said, "Will Thomas still be at Celtic

next season? Why not? He still has two years of his contract to go. He likes Celtic and enjoys living in Scotland. He likes the fans and the club - the only negative is that he has not been playing as much as he would have wanted."

In agent-speak that statement would appear at first glance to be a clear message to the board that Gravesen will be going no-where cheap. Mon the Hoops understands that the bulk of Gravesen’s weekly wage packet is made up with appearance money and add ons. So no wonder the agents main concern is the lack of appearances.

As I have stated before on these hallow pages, I would like the Tommy G experiment to work. I would like to see him start next season refreshed after enjoying a settled pre-season, not after spending 7 months in the wilderness looking for a club after Real Madrid told him to do so in January.

He will, however need to get add little bit of restraint to his play.

On a brighter side issue, we are receiving reports that Peter Lawell is currently working on a transfer so big, so amazing, so grandiose that it will not only rock Scottish football and the media, but also World Football.
