Pre-Season Friendly
Saturday 16th July 2005
Craven Cottage, London
Kick Off 3pm, Live on Celtic TV

It's been an interesting summer to say the least. The loss of the SPL title, the departure of manager Martin O'Neill and the arrival of Gordon Strachan was alot to cram in before the domestic season had even ended. There was no time to dwell on what had happened, and despite not being everyone's first choice, we needed to get behind Gordon Strachan.

Strachan comes across as a man still fazed at what he has gotten himself into. I believe he is doing a fine job and is trying his hardest to be honest and genuine with the supporters. He has not put a foot wrong and as it stands, it's just about so far so good.

Tomrorow's match is the first time we will get to see a Gordon Strachan Celtic side, with new signings Maciej Zurawski, Mo Camara, Jeremie Aliadiere and goalkeeper Artur Boruc.

Obviously the result is not exactly important, but it will be interesting to see who plays where and who will impress the travelling Celtic support. Expect alot of shuffling about with the players and alot of new things being tried out.

Here's to a winning start for Gordon Strachan and The Bhoys.

Come On The Hoops Prediction: Fulham 0-2 Celtic
