Elvis takes on new role with Scotland

(Did he have one? - Ed)

The news that Celtic Defender Stephen Pressley is to join Craig Burley as an assistant has been met with mixed views from the Faithful. On one hand much of the support is glad that a player that they never rated looks to be in the final throes of his Celtic career but on the other hand scepticism of the Scotland team set up is also apparent.

Lets face it, Celtic fans have always been more than a little bit wary of the SFA and its treatment of the club, from sanctions to players amazingly snubbed and Managers who get treated with little respect (Tommy Burns) many have become disillusioned with the National team set up.

One wonders what portion of Pressley's wages will be taken up by the SFA?

Anyway one person who feels the appointment is ok is Stephen McManus. Speaking yesterday Big Mick gave Elvis support by saying, "he is a very bright guy and I think he will do very well as a coach."

He is not going to say anything else though is he?

Yours in Celtic
