Celtic Football Club gave their fans not one but two early Christmas presents yesterday with the news that they had signed two new players.

Highly rated young Czech Left-back Milan Misun, a target for AC Milan (will Milan Miss-um? - I'll get my coat) has joined on a four-year deal alongside Dundee United's Lukasz Zaluska, who will join the Celts for free at the end of the season

Gordon Strachan had this to say on the signing of the young full back: "We are delighted to complete the signing of Milan Misun, he is a young man with certainly a lot of potential and we will be doing all we can to maximise his potential and try and ensure that he is a success at Celtic in the future."

Milan Misun said: "It is a tremendous honour to sign for a club of Celtic's stature. This is a wonderful opportunity and one I will aim to try and make the most of.

"I know that there are some quality players at Celtic and I will need to work extremely hard to break in to the first team.

"This is something that I will be giving my all to try and do."

You may not have to try too hard to make the left back spot your own Milan!

Merry Christmas to all from everyone at Mon the Hoops! May your God go with you!

Yours in Celtic
