kick off 12.30, Live on Setanta

Finally, after weeks of boredom, the new league campaign has arrived. First up is Dunfermline at East End Park, tomorrow afternoon at 12.30.

Ever since the final day of last season, there has been a fued between Dunfermline and Celtic. After Celtic's win at Kilmarnock, Chris Sutton claimed he knew the Dunfermline players would 'lie down' to Rangers - which we all knew they would do.

Dunfermline's shambolic attempts at playing Rangers throughout last season have been well documented by Celtic supporters, and their mouthy Chairman John Yorkston has been defending his team all the way. Yorkston's comments have triggered some supporters to boycott tomorrow's game, refusing to give Dunfermline any money. Some supporters have also been trying to organise a 'lie down' protest, seeing as though Dunfermline lie down to the huns every time they meet.

On the field, Chris Sutton will not be playing, he has been suspended for the first 5 games of the SPL. John Hartson is also still recovering from his back injury which kept him out of the UEFA Cup Final, but other than that, Martin O'Neill has a full squad to choose from.

Celtic should not stop tomorrow. Once they get ahead they should demolish this team, and show them up for what they are. What we done to teams like Kilmarnock, Motherwell and Dundee at the tail-end of last season, is what we should be doing every week. We all now realise that every team in this league will do everything they can to stop us winning it, and we should start smurdering these teams each time we play them.

Celtic-Mad Prediction: Dunfermline 0-4 Celtic (Larsson (2), Petrov, Balde)
